Mechanism of action of Voriconazole
Voriconazole Tablet acts by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol. As a result ergosterol decreases in the cell membrane of fungi and the growth of fungus gets inhibited.
Side effects of Voriconazole
Along with usefulness voriconazole have some side effects also like
Vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, headache, body ache, blurring of vision, light phobia, kidney problem, joint pain, bone pain, mood swings, dizziness, fainting, poor appetite, yellow urine, pale eyes, yellowing of skin, skin allergic reaction, rashes, itching, swelling, abnormal heatbeats etc.
Precautions with Voriconazole
